REVEREND RENETHA H. MACKLIN

To bless the Lord at all times is the heart's desire of Rev. Renetha H. Macklin, affectionately known as, "Sister Renetha." Sister Renetha is the fourth child of the Rev. & Mrs. A. C. Macklin's nine children. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at the age of 12 years old. During a revival service there was a need for an organist. Her feet unable to reach the pedals, Sister Renetha climbed on the organ for the first time and began to play. The saints were amazed, the service was lifted and thus her musical journey began.

During a Sunday evening service at her home church, The New Sweet Home COGIC, Sister Renetha's hands were anointed with oil. The prayer was prayed for a great anointing to fall upon this young vessel of the Lord. She often shares how the angels of the Lord would sing in her ears while she was sleeping and she would get up and go play what she heard.

The Lord used Sister Renetha during her school days from Jr. High throughout college. She has founded and directed various groups and choirs in California including Foothill College Gospel Choir, Staff Musician at The Cathedral of Faith, Musician for the Trinity Christian Broadcasting Network, both in San Jose, Minister of Music at The Glad Tidings COGIC, Hayward, CA, and Minister of Music for E.C. Reems Women's International Ministries, Oakland, CA.
Through many years of faithfulness, testing, trials and fire, God elevated this woman of God. Sister Renetha brings freshness to the music industry through her ministry of Praise and Worship. Her unique style and powerful anointing has caused her to be one of the most sought after worship leaders in the country today.

She has released five recordings, Holy Spirit Rain On Me, Father God I Appreciate You, Oh Jesus, Altogether Lovely, My Beloved and The Highest Praise, which have received high reviews in CCM Magazine, Spin Magazine, Christian radio and TV stations.

Sister Renetha is also a preacher, teacher and songwriter. She has written for various artists including Ron Kenoly, Integrity Records and Vickie Winans, CGI Records, Gospel Today Praise and Worship CD, Rod Parsley's Raising The Roof CD - to name a few. This is her season!

In 1990, Sister Renetha founded Praise Team Ministries (PTM). PTM is a resource and support for Praise Ministries throughout the country, providing new songs, teaching materials and inspiration. PTM also hosts The Annual Praise and Worship Festival.

Being led of the Lord, Sister Renetha moved from her home in Hayward California and relocated to San Antonio. Presently, she serves as Elder of the Ministry of Music and Fine Arts at New Creation Christian Fellowship under the pastorate of Bishop David M. Copeland and Rev. Dr. Claudette A. Copeland.

Being humble in heart, Sister Renetha often states, "I just want God's people to get blessed and I want God to get all the Glory for it."
